Stories about Black History

Dozens of articles and stories that are seldom covered in school.

Danita Smith

Danita Smith is the founder of Red and Black Ink, LLC.  She writes about history, computer programming and education from the perspective of real life—as a person who obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration from an HBCU, obtained her M.B.A. and is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in digital design and web technology.  She has over 24 years of experience as a corporate trainer, a business manager, a hiring manager and an entrepreneur.

She is also the proud mother of one son who has graduated college (with a 4.0 GPA) and is now looking to teach software development to young people.
