(Digitally delivered immediately to your email)

Children may begin to learn about fractions in the 3rd grade.  They then go on to learn much more through 6th grade.  It is important for a child to gain a good grasp of this area of mathematics because he or she will have to perform mathematical operations related to fractions throughout high school and college.

In this ebook we review:

  • addition and subtraction of fractions with like denominators
  • improper and proper fractions
  • mixed numbers
  • multiplication and division of fractions
  • addition and subtraction of fractions with unlike denominators

This pdf is available exclusively on our website.

I recently had a parent tell me that her child was having trouble with fractions in the 5th grade.  She knew how to tell him to go study and not to watch television, but she said she didn't have a clue about how to help him with fractions.

I thought, "What if she had something else to say, instead of, 'Go study!'?"  Instead she could say something like,

"When you have the same numbers in the denominators and you're just adding or subtracting fractions, you simply have to add or subtract the numerators and leave the denominators alone."

We hope our book will help parents do this and more.
